Welcome to Diablo Valley Oncology & Hematology

Diablo Valley Oncology & Hematology Medical Group (DVO) provides comprehensive cancer care to patients by bringing together medical oncology, hematology, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, CT/MRI/PET-CT and supportive care all in one convenient location. The specialized care you receive at DVO combines the best in clinical medicine with an outstanding staff and services that meet the individual needs of each patient.

We believe that the stress of beginning cancer therapy can be reduced if the treatment space is patient centered, peaceful, intimate and beautiful. That is why when we designed our center from the ground up, our infusion suite was made to be lovely and calming while also state of the art and functional.

Office Tour

All forms of medical therapy (chemotherapy, immunotherapy, hormonal therapy, experiential therapy and supportive therapy) are administered to patients in individual private spaces with room for family members. Each individualized space offers comfortable reclining chair soothing music, DVD players and wireless internet access.

We are one of the largest free standing cancer treatment sites in the county. We maintain a full staff of compassionate and technically-expert chemotherapy certified nurses and oncology physicians, ensuring medical coverage at all times while patients are receiving treatment. Nurses are constantly monitoring and assisting patients, resulting in the highest nurse to patient ratio and the absolute best quality of care. We are proud of the outstanding staff throughout the organization; our entire team is dedicated to the goal of easing patients through their journey while meeting each individuals needs.

In January 2012, Diablo Valley Oncology & Hematology Medical Group joined practices with Pacific Urology, forming Contra Costa County’s first private multi-specialty group of its kind. Urology and oncology are complementary specialties which enables us to deliver an unprecedented level of continuity of care to patients requiring both specialty services. Our unique structure allows our doctors and nurses to work closely and cohesively, providing the most coordinated care possible for each patient.
